How it works

  1. You upload the original file — we scan it for Bosch MED17/EDC17 checksum block signatures (0xC0 absolute, 0x30 customer data, 0x40 application, 0x60 dataset, 0x10 startup).
  2. If valid blocks are found, we know the ECU family + algorithm (CRC32, ADD32 or ADD16) per block.
  3. We apply the same recipe to your modified file: recompute each checksum on the new data and patch the stored value.
  4. You download the fixed BIN. The download link expires in 1 hour and is single-use.

FAQ

Which ECUs does this tool support?

Bosch MED17 (petrol direct injection) and EDC17 (common-rail diesel) — that's about 70% of EU petrol+diesel from 2008-2020. For EDC15/EDC16, Continental SID208/SID209, Denso, Delphi DCM, Marelli MJD, Siemens Simos and newer Bosch MDG1/MDG2 use the DaVinci Deluxe desktop suite.

Is my file stored anywhere?

No. Files are deleted immediately after the corrected BIN is downloaded, or after 1 hour if you don't download. We log only an anonymous 4-byte file signature for usage stats — never the file content.

How many corrections can I do?

5 per hour per IP for free. DaVinci Deluxe (from 299€ lifetime) gives unlimited corrections plus 50+ supported ECU families and the full Stage 1/2, DPF off, EGR delete, AdBlue removal suite.

Is the algorithm safe to flash?

The tool uses the well-tested MIT-licensed medc17 checksum algorithm (CRC32 IEEE 802.3, ADD32, ADD16) with GF(2) matrix solving — the same techniques used by professional ECU tuning suites. Always test on a spare ECU first and keep an original backup before flashing anything.
